

NICK YOUNG
TEACHER
Nick Young hails from Wisconsin, where he trained at his mother’s dance studio. At 19, he auditioned for Season 8 of So You Think You Can Dance and earned a spot in the Top 20, specializing in tap. After touring with the Top 10, Nick moved to Los Angeles, where he has worked alongside Jim Carrey and appeared on various Disney Channel shows, Glee, The Goldbergs, and Ted 2.
Nick is the founder and artistic director of Rhythmatic, a tap company based in Los Angeles. His choreography has been featured on So You Think You Can Dance and World of Dance, and his debut show, On Top of the World, played to sold-out crowds at the 2018 Bermuda Festival for the Performing Arts, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Most recently, he choreographed for the hit Vegas show Absinthe and wrote and directed his first short film, I Get Knocked Down.
