Conny’s dance career has taken her from her birthplace of Australia to the US, Asia, England, and many other regions of Europe. Conny has found great reward throughout her vast career.
Conny created a choreographic portfolio which spans the globe, receiving the highest accolades for her work in numerous productions, academic settings, and dance competitions. As an award-winning choreographer, Conny has been frequently invited to stage dance works at the McCallum Theater Choreography Festival. She has also twice been the recipient of 1st place award at the “Dancing Under the Stars” Choreography Competition, seven time award winner of Outstanding Choreographer at Youth American Grand Prix, and many other recognized competition events.
Conny’s choreographic portfolio includes professional works created for corporate events, industrials, commercials, city festivals, broadcast awards, club entertainment, casino shows, theater, opera, ballet companies and television.
Performance experience includes touring with Ballet, Opera and Musical Companies. She has also enjoyed performing in Plays and Commercial Ventures.
As a teacher Conny has held a variety of positions in both styles and environments. These include: Teaching formalized Dance Techniques in Dance Studios, setting up and implementing Dance Teaching Programs at TAFE College/University and Movement and Dance Programs in Public and Private Schools. Conny has taught Master Classes and judged major dance festivals.
Many of her students have gone on to working professionally in Classical Ballet Companies, Musicals and Commercial Ventures.
Conny continues to be active in the Ballet community;
Directing and managing California Dance Classics,(classical ballet & contemporary dance competitions), choreographing for professional dance companies, instructing Master Classes, offering private advanced instruction.
She has also most recently been recognized and awarded by the State of California for her lifetime of accomplishment in the Dance Arts, and was highlighted in an article in Dance Teacher Magazine as one of the most successful “award winning choreographers” in the dance industry stating "Her pieces are expressive and hyper-musical, and often have unique themes to bring out a dancer's individuality.”
